Different Colors of Independence Day in Pakistan in 2019



14 August is the day of the year when Pakistanis observe a public holiday. This is the day when Pakistan came into existence, which is why we celebrate this day with the true spirit and passion as an independent state.
Every year Pakistanis celebrate this event energetically. Right now this day’s preparations are in full swing. However, to know more about the different colors of this day check the below mentioned upcoming events happening this 14 August.

SBP Independence Day Sports day Competition


Sports board Punjab’s competition has begun across the province. In Rahim Yar khan the district sports department arranged a race among young boys. Over 100 young boys participated in the race. Moreover, there was also a Maila Malakhra held between Sindh and Punjab teams because of Independence Day. Many people from Pakistan participated and enjoy the competition along with Jam Muhammad Asghar and Akmal Jafree, they were the guest of honor there. The district sports department also gave out flags and badges for Independence Day celebration.  Moreover, some other degree colleges have also started the Jashan-e-Azadi Inter-Tehsil Football Tournament in town.


Independence Day at Lahore Arts Council


Alhamra Arts council of Lahore always showcases their talent on Independence Day. This year they again have organized a special event to celebrate the Independence Day. Students and teachers of the Alhamra academy organized an event on Tuesday and showed their skills in music. They also showcase the art culture of Pakistan. They have planned different events which will be going on till 14 of August. Events will include song and speech contests, different festivals and dramas, exhibition and talk shows.


Independence Day in solidarity with Kashmiris


The Indian government has dismissed the article 370 of the Indian occupied Kashmir. Serious tensions have arisen in the area because of the Indian government decision. To show the solidarity with Kashmiri brothers and sisters, Pakistan’s government has unveiled a logo to express their feelings. The theme of the logo is “Kashmir Banay ga” Pakistan. Word Kashmir in the red color shows the sacrifices they have done for freedom till date. Pakistani flag on the logo is to show solidarity of Pakistani’s, they will go to any extent for Occupied Kashmir’s freedom.  Pakistan has decided to celebrate this Independence Day as Kashmir solidarity day and 15 of August will be the black day.

A quick wrap up


This Independence Day is going to be the real sacrifice as we are celebrating both Eid ul Adha and showing the solidarity with Kashmiris because of the recent tension.  On the other hand, we always celebrate this day with full passion. Alongside this, we should also accountable ourselves for what we have done so far for the country and what betterments can be done.
